Acoustic Guitar with Shayla M.

I am a vocalist, songwriter, and musician with experience in music production. For the past two years I have been growing a YouTube following posting original classic rock covers. Currently I am connecting to other local artists to form a band. I teach guitar because it is my passion and I would love to help anyone ready to perfect the craft. I teach lessons by first learning basic music theory that applies to guitar so students can then use that knowledge to really understand how chords are formed and what the neck of a guitar really means. I believe through this method students can use this knowledge to venture further into melodies and how music is formed. After this basic understanding we learn simple to intermediate songs based on progress. I teach pop, indie rock, metal, hard rock, classic rock, alternative, and r&b.
