Sharon knew at a very young age that the arts were her life and doesn't remember a time when she wasn't singing, dancing and acting. She began her professional singing and acting career at the age of six years old and has performed at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. She plays the piano and is a versatile musician with a strong foundation in the classical method that really rocks!!
Sharon grew up in Brooklyn, NY and has trained with some of New York City's premier voice, piano and acting teachers. Sharon majored in Theater and graduated cum laude with honors in theater.
She is a certified public school theater teacher and has worked with hundreds of performing arts students. As a private instructor, she has guided her students in piano, voice, and acting.

Strengths include working with classically-trained vocalists to help them find their true voice in the jazz, rock and pop repertoire. Successes demonstrated as my students attend high-ranking performing arts schools; recording and live-performing opportunities.

Cultural Arts Advisor (grades 5-8). Work with parents, administration and PTA and the cultural Arts community to direct, produce and employ curriculum-based cultural arts programs in theater, music, dance and the visual arts. Accomplishments include: produced and directed a grade-wide (grade 7) workshop based on the musical "West Side Story". This workshop was integrated into the core curriculum and culminated in a grade-wide performance. Other programs include an 8th grade Holocaust presentation; Friends of Rachel-Acts of Kindness; Twelve Angry Men acting workshop.
Permanent Subsutute (grades 5-8) in all academic and special subjects (concentration in English Language Arts and music). Maintain discipline and classroom control; follow professional practices in working with students of all grades, parents and colleagues.
Full-time theater arts teacher of approximately 260 students with various learning abilities.
