Acoustic Guitar with Shane M.

A full time musician and music educator, Shane McLaughlin performs and is inspired by music across a wide variety of genres. He fell in love with music at a young age, listening to his parents' Motown, pop, and classic rock music. Since then, he has studied several instruments in depth, including the piano, alto saxophone, voice, and, namely, guitar. McLaughlin studied music at the University of Pittsburgh, participated in NYU's competitive Summer Songwriting Program, and strives to grow as a musician and writer, often finding joy in collaborating with other artists. He currently writes and performs Pittsburgh-based group, six-piece folk group Buffalo Rose. His greatest passions are performing and discovering new ways to present timeless themes through lyrics and harmony.
