I have taken lessons and studied music for so long that it is second nature to me. I teach, first and foremost, that being a musician does not come without hard work. It may come more easily to some than others but it requires work from everybody. If you are not willing to sit down and practice five to six days a week I will notice. If I feel that you have not put in the required amount of effort to succeed then I will nicely ask you to cut the lesson short, practice harder this week and we will resume our lessons again the next week. Please don't think that I am being unreasonable. I just want people to take music seriously. I will not teach a child who refuses to practice and maybe sits at the piano and tinkers around for 5 minutes a week. It is a waste of your time and your money and I want to be there to help you or your child grow in their love and ability in music.
