Hi my name is Sean Ronan! I am an experienced music teacher with 10+ years of professional career behind me. About Sean R. I am an electric guitar player with a history of touring the country playing rock,blues, country and jazz styles. I graduated from William Paterson University with a bachelors in jazz performance. I have had the opportunity to play on many records and play with many amazing musicians. My students range in ability from beginner to advanced. I currently in a number of bands in the NYC area. Currently I am only offering online lessons. I work with guitar players in a wide range of ability. Some are beginners and some are professional as well. I can help your prepare for an audition or if your just getting into music I can help you too. I am fun and will always unsure the lessons are stress free and productive. Some of the musical styles I regularly teach: Rock, Blues, Jazz, Funk, Country, Classical, Soul, R&B *Lesson Details* My students will gain the following techniques from consistent lessons. Techniques- Picking, strumming, finger-style. Improvisation How to create an interesting guitar solo Learning songs to develop a good foundation for future skills. Music theory I mostly focus on learning songs rather than boring exercise. You will get more out of learning a hard chord progression or lick than learning unmusical exercise.
