Singing with Sayra G.

I am a singer/songwriter and a worship leader. I currently co-lead at a church and perform when an opportunity presents itself. I graduated from ACM @ UCO with an associates in Vocal Performance and a desire to teach. I have been performing, leading worship, and mentoring for about 12 years. I have experience performing Classical, R&B, Jazz, Gospel, Alternative, Country, and Pop music. I have performed and worked with full bands and many different level musicians. My students can expect to develop healthy singing habits, to expand their range, to broaden their horizons and explore different parts of their voice as I introduce them to singing different genres. I also like to incorporate my mentoring experience in with the vocal lessons by breaking down songs and helping the students interpret them on a personal level. I want my students not only to learn how to sing in a healthy way, but to learn how to express themselves and what they are feeling through music. Along with vocal lessons, I will also begin teaching students about stage presence and how to read and room and engage their audience in different performance scenarios. Music is a beautiful gift and I cannot wait to share it with all of you.
