Suzuki Piano Lessons for children and adults

I am a teacher with 5+ years experience, and over 25 years playing piano. I have always followed the Suzuki teaching method, as a student and a teacher. I believe it is a strong guide for learners of all ages and experience levels to build a solid foundation in technique and ear training. Lessons also include topics like Music Theory, required listening, scales and chords. I assess each student's strengths and improvement points during 30 min-hour long lessons, and guide practice as needed to help them advance in their musical journey!

    About Sasha G.

My background is in Suzuki piano. I started playing when I was 7, and have now been studying the instrument for over 25 years. I completed Certificate of Merit coursework and passed tests up to level 5 in California (equivalent to a BA in Music Theory). I adhere to the Suzuki Method while teaching, emphasizing ear training, music theory, and proper technique. I believe students interested in all genres of piano can benefit from a solid grounding in classical principles. Suzuki theory encourages students to begin at as early an age as possible, and I have extensive experience with young children. Beginners of all ages are, of course, welcomed and encouraged!
