Experienced music teacher for 5 years for adults and children; all ages welcome! I graduated with a Degree in Vocal Performance and have much experience in contemporary church worship settings. I'm here to help you meet your singing goals and aspirations. We can cover a wide selection of subjects concerning vocal training (listed below), all based on the needs and desires of the student. By the first 3 lessons, you will be equipped with several exercises and warm-ups you can do on your own for great technique. After a few months, you will have at least one song in your repertoire that we have prepared together. If you have a performance or audition coming up, we will work directly with the material you will be performing to assure your best results. Music should be fun and enjoyable, and all for the glory of God, and these lessons are designed to keep it that way while helping increase technique and reach goals!

Sarah, and her husband Jacob, are called to ministry through writing, recording, and leading worship music, as well as empowering others in the body of Christ to do the same with a dedicated heart and refined musical skills. Sarah is a professional vocalist and keyboard player. She graduated with her degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Texas A&M-Commerce. Most of her experience is in church realms of contemporary worship music but also includes genres such as operatic, musical theater, and pop music. She has led worship on many church stages and has performed as a lead in the musical I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. Having performed vocals, keyboard, and ukulele on the song All I Want is You by HealingRoads Worship, written by Jonathan DeGrenier, she has experience with recording and the necessary preparation to have a studio-quality sound. Sarah is incredibly kind and generous with her time! She cares for each of her students and works to meet their specific needs. She is very knowledgeable about singing and has many tools and tricks to help you learn fast! I have had a wonderful time meeting weekly with Sarah and am both improving my voice and learning a ton!
