I started my classical music training at four years old and continued formal lessons until high school. I grew up in a very musical household as my father is also a professional musician. Through my formal training and my further study, I have built up a substantial knowledge of music theory. At 11, I began playing percussion instruments and played in my school band through college (Shanghai Jiaotong University). At 13, I earned my level 10 piano performance certificate, which is the highest level in China. During my time at University, I toured with the band throughout Eastern Asia and Europe. I also performed for Hillary Clinton’s visit to Shanghai and have performed musical solos multiple times at the Shanghai Grand Theater. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to and playing popular music and classical pieces, particularly those by Bach and Chopin. For more information, please do not hesitate to ask.
