Hello! My Name is Salvatore! I am a multi-instrumentalist songsmith with a passion for live performance. I have been taking private music lessons since age 8 and graduated from Berklee College of Music in May 2011. I have always worked as a musician whether its been teaching, playing in theater pit bands, playing in clubs, or making tracks for T.V. This gives you, as the student, a phenomenal resource of different musical styles and careers to learn about! Studying with me is a blast! You are my co-pilot and we are on this musical journey together! *** Lesson Details *** I am a super happy and laid back guy that pays strict attention to developing to my student's strong points. I always use the specific qualities of your instrument of choice to get you grooving and having fun in the first lesson i.e playing on just the black keys to play the blues or with the guitar doing glissandi up one string for some rockin' surf guitar sounds! "Everyone can sing! It's just like talking only louder and longer!" As my student, I let you lead the way and it's my job to teach you the important stuff to remember within your song or subject matter of choice. I will not only teach you the song or solo you bring to the lesson but I will show you how to make up your own just like it! After a good amount of lessons you will have a great knowledge of your favorite styles and great players of your instrument. You will be inspired by music from yesterday and today! Most importantly you will learn to love your instrument or find one that better suits your inner musical voice and be on your way to mastering your craft! *** Studio Equipment *** Living room set up.
