I am a professional musician and educator. I have always enjoyed and been eager to share the musical knowledge that I learned from the very first music lesson I ever had; this feeling in me has never changed. I simply love to help people who want to learn new instruments.
I am patient and encouraging, helping you to always believe in yourself and I believe and have the educational means to help you do it. Whether it is piano, guitar or some other instrument you want to learn, I can help you.
I was became entirely dedicated to music when I was 14 years old. I learned Classical/Jazz/Pop Guitar, Piano and Flute/Recorder/Alto Sax. As soon as I started learning, I started teaching. In my church there were a lot of kids that didn't have the opportunity to learn music, so I volunteered and became their music teacher passing on to them whatever I learned myself.
As I grew older, I kept on studying and teaching music as a church volunteer and noticed that my own skills would dramatically improve just because I was devoted to my student's learning.
I pursued a degree in Music Education in New York City at the Aaron Copland School of Music. The education and experience I gained from college, drastically improved my teaching skills and I was able to work as a Music Teaching Assistant for a private school in NYC, a Senior Chess instructor for after school programs and a Private Music Studio teacher.
Nowadays I am an active music teacher and performer, looking for new students and opportunities to share the love of music. I always reach out to people who have musical interests and want to further develop or experiment with music.
I will be very happy to be your music teacher!

I had my very first lesson today with Sal, and I’m excited about some very cute things he taught me in just a short period of time. He is very talented, approachable, enjoyable to work with, and knows what he’s doing. I look forward to learning and growing with him.Show More
This brief lesson was helpful, especially since its my first time learning. I learned a few chords and now have some homework to do. Very personable and straightforward! I just moved back to Dallas and needing some instructions to finally get started.
He is the best violin teacher I have ever had! I've wanted to learn since I was a kid, but I was not motivated with my previous teachers and now as an adult beginner I am finding it easier than I thought. Mr. Sal breaks it down so that it isn't as hard to learn anymore and I am making leaps and strides. These last 6 months have gotten me ready to play Jingle Bells for my family over the holidays along with my other pieces and I am excited to show them what I've learned. Thank you Mr. Sal and I would definitely recommend anyone who wants to learn the violin to just start with the best teacher I know!Show More
Mr. Salvador is a great instructor. He takes his time helping my daughter learn. He focuses on her foundation. The way she holds the guitar, position of feet and fingers. I appreciate how he is helping her become a well rounded musician. I’ve seen my daughter improve.Show More
Mr.Salvador is an amazing teacher. My son is taking private Piano lessons with him and he is loving it. Mr.Sal is very patient and professional and also incredibly knowledgeable.
We like him so much and definitely recommend him to everyone
I have worked with Sal for the past year. He was the music teacher at the school I used to work at and he was wonderful with all the children of different age groups. I am also a nanny and he teaches piano to the child I take care of and he is very patient, loving, and nice. He is a good instructor.Show More
Salvador is great with my 5 yr old daughter. Very patient and she's learned so much with Salvador. I would highly recommend him!
Mr. Salvador is extremely kind, informative, and patient. He helps me with any piece I want to play. There are many teachers I’ve met over the past couple years, yet none as helpful as Mr. Salvador. 5 stars!
Mr. Salvador has been teaching my daughter guitar for the past year and a half. He is an excellent instructor. His experience shines through when he teaches. We highly recommend him!!!
Our child has been taking piano lessons from Mr. Salvador for more than a year now. He is wonderful to work with. He has great motivational and observational skills. We are lucky have Mr. Salvador available in our area.
Very patient with the little kids. Would definitely recommmend him for lessons
Very much satisfied with Mr. Salvador’s teachings for my daughter. She enjoys and is more interested with the instrument. Credit goes to Mr. Salvador. Thank you
Mr. Salvador has been an incredible addition in the lives of me and my family. Our home has been a warm and musical place since we met Salva, as he has been so much more than just a teacher -- he's been a close friend.
Both excellent as a musician and as an instructor, Salvador is the kind of person I would gladly recommend for students of any age. Just don't be afraid to have fun!
As a teacher myself, the amount of educators that not only have a gift but have the passion to bestow knowledge upon others are few and far between. Salvador is one of those teachers. I have had some of his students for piano lessons. The artistry and technical improvement that his students have in guitar is incredible. He is a joy to work with. If I had children wanting to take lessons, I would choose him in a heartbeat.Show More
Great guitar teacher, very professional and easy to work with.
Mr. Sal is so patient and really tries to reach his students on an individual level.
My 9-year-old daughter Sophia has gone from beginner to an intermediate level in piano in less than 2 years. She looks forward to her lessons every week and when I come home from work, I find her practicing on her own. I'm so grateful to Mr. Sal for not only teaching Sophia music and piano, but also for teaching her at an early age hard work and perseverance. I highly recommend him!Show More
I finally feel motivated to practice the guitar! I've taken lessons from different teachers over the years and I would always take a break because life would get in the way. But, the "music bug" would come back to bite me and I'd pick up the guitar again, which is how I ended up taking lessons from Mr. Sal since August 2016. Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted to learn to play the guitar and I finally after 8 years have found the right teacher to keep me on track. Thank you for always believing in me and helping me stay motivated. I would recommend anyone at any age to take guitar lessons with Mr. Sal!Show More

I have experience singing in choirs and with various groups throughout North Texas. I am currently teaching beginner to advanced voice lessons ages 4 and up.
I have taught Ukulele, Guitar, Piano, Violin, Voice, both private lessons, group lessons and summer camps. Have also been a Montessori Music Director at different Private schools such as Wonderland Montessori, Kin-west Montessori, Coppell Montessori, Ivy League Montessori, Redeemer Montessori, among others. In these programs I have had to create all of these school's Christmas program, Spring Sing Closing of Year Concerts as well as Graduation Concerts. During my time teaching at these schools I would see roughly 800+ children every week for as long as the school year would last for. In other words I have had much experience with children from ages 1 to 14 years old, from Pre-school to Upper-Elementary.
