Levels Taught:
Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
Professional trombonist and music educator with significant experience. Performing has always been a large passion of mine but teaching goes hand in hand with this passion. As a professional trombonist and current Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Miami, I have significant experience performing and teaching numerous styles of music. My experiences in music would not be complete if I were not able to share them with my students. In addition to my performance experience I also hold teaching experience in band and general music in all levels of the public school system.

My students will find me to be a very patient, methodical, and organized teacher. Students lessons will be rooted in creating a strong technical foundation and developing their ideal sound.

I am a dedicated and passionate musician originally from Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. I hold a Bachelors of Music Education and Performers Certificate from Penn State University (2017). I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Trombone Performance at the University of Miami (2019). At the University of Miami I serve as a Graduate Teaching Assistant to the Frost Band of the Hour Marching Band.

Throughout my academic and professional careers I have consistently performed in jazz ensembles, orchestras, wind ensemble, jazz combos, trombone choirs, and various other chamber ensembles. I also write and arrange my own music for several ensembles.
