Ryan has studied guitar, piano and singing through S.L. Community College as well as privately with various professors from the University of Utah. Some of his mentors include Dean Kaelin, Pat Terry, Dan Waldis, Steve Lowry and MaryAnn Drescher.
As a guitar teacher, Ryan's goal is to help students be able to grow a deeper passion for music and attain the skills needed to express themselves musicially.
Lessons are designed to help students not only learn to play the songs they love, but learn how those songs were built and how they can pull the songs apart and create something of their own.
Ryan has experience teaching students ranging from ages 7-69!
Ryan was a great instructor. Took time to teach and created an enthusiastic music student.
Ryan cares to make the lessons personal for what I need in my learning of guitar. Other teachers just show up, open a book, and see what you got. I feel that Ryan prepares lessons so that I get the most out of them.
