Cello with Ryan K.

I'm a performing cellist, recording artist, and teacher. I started as a symphony cellist, and have since taken my cello playing to new mediums and genres -- from rock, to gospel, to dubstep -- in performances across the US and abroad. From my home studio I have recorded and appeared on albums with well known composers and artists such as Mark Petrie, audiomachine, Kill the Noise, Cage the Elephant, Tasha Cobbs, and others. My YouTube channel which features performances of songs ranging from rock, to shred, to dubstep, has a following of over 8,000 subscribers and over 2 million views. My aim as a teacher is to equip students with the fundamental skills needed to play the cello and help them to discover, enjoy, and express their own musical nature.
