RUDY SANCHEZ I am a drummer with over 40 years of professional playing and teaching experience, I studied music at The Dick Grove’s Music Workshop in Los Angeles, Ca. For 20 years I was the house lead drummer for THE UNIVISION NETWORK ORCHESTRA. Educational Clinician Experience: From 1993 to 2013 I performed drum clinics on an ongoing basis all over Mexico endorsed and by ZILDJIAN CYMBALS and PEARL DRUMS. On April of 2007 I was an active participant in a ZILDJIAN-PEARL TOUR alongside prestigious drummers like DENNIS CHAMBERS and MIKE MANGINI. Studio Work: I have recorded numerous Broadway Musicals Plays performed in Mexico featuring: CATS, CHORUS LINE, MAME, THE WIZARD OF OZ, PETER PAN, LA CAGE AU FOLLIES, GYPSY, ALADIN, etc. Drum Teaching: From 1997 to 2007 I was a drum instructor at The Superior School of Music in México City. In 2016 I was drum instructor at The Academie of Musique in Temple College Texas, where I taught drumming theory, fundamentals and advanced drumming techniques to groups and also individual students. Today I am currently a Drum Instructor at Guitar Center South Chicago.
