Cello with Ruby B.

An avid teacher, Ruby maintains an active private studio and serves as cello faculty at the Community Music School of Oberlin Conservatory alongside her work with organizations such as the Northern Ohio Youth Orchestra, the Ann Arbor Community Music School, the Lawrence Academy of Music in Appleton Wisconsin, and Seattle Music Partners. In addition to her Suzuki and traditional cello students, Ruby is passionate about expanding access to historical instruments for young musicians, and is a member of the Viola da Gamba Society of America's Outreach Council and Early Music America's Emerging Professional Leadership Council
