Teaching since:

I am passionate about the art of singing. As a mezzo-soprano, I perform with several regional orchestras, chamber groups, and opera companies. I trained with multiple opera companies throughout the United States, and I earned my Masters of Music from Westminster Choir College and my Doctorate of Music Arts from LSU.
I am equally passionate about teaching voice. I have been teaching at the college level for over eight years, but have also taught students from as young as 10 up into their seventies. My students have competed at the state and regional level of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, and several of them were finalists or even won first place in their categories. Several of my former students have earned scholarships to colleges and graduate schools in voice.
My approach to teaching voice will help you build confidence as you explore the natural voice you were born with and grow your ability to healthily adapt that voice to express the music you want to sing.
