I have been teaching guitar for 7+ years and I have performed and recorded with Kenny Jones (Waylon Jennings, Bill Haley/Comets, Alan Jackson, Tim Mcgraw), Will Ackerman (Grammy Winning Artist and Producer), Steve Holley (McCartney and Wings/Elton John), T. Bone Wolk (Carly Simon, Hall and Oates), Justin King (guitarist/songwriter), Joseph Brent (Regina Spector). I graduated from the Cecil College in Maryland with an associates degree in music, guitar concentration. I recently won grand prize for the Sara Evans and CD Baby Songwriting Competitions, have my songs in films and games, worked with Grammy Winner Will Ackerman, and am working on my 3rd album! I teach all chords, strumming patters, notes, scales, but mainly focus the lesson around a song the student wants to learn. What's more fun than playing songs! I will help you master the tools needed to play and perform your favorite songs, whether for jamming in your living room or getting ready for an audition! There are many guitar teachers available, but I've never met any who've had as much fun with their students.
