Hey Students, my name is Robin Gordon Jr, and I have a passion for helping students excel in music. I've been teaching voice and piano for over 18 years, and I have a great respect for the truth in learning. I'm a big believer in using truth devices such as the recording device to let you know exactly what you sound like, the chromatic tuner, to show you exactly how close you are to singing in tune, the metronome to show you how close you are to singing with perfect rhythm and timing and the video camera to show you exactly how you're coming across to the audience. Don't be one of those people who show up on american Idol, where their entire family and friends told them they could sing, only to get a large dose of reality when they meet the judges! I'll make sure that person is never you. Every lesson plan I create is unique depending on where my students are at this moment and where they want to go.
