Summer is a perfect time for your or your student to begin learning a new instrument! I introduce students to the basics of trumpet playing, establishing good habits and proper playing technique that'll sustain them for a lifetime of music making.

In a fun and constructive environment I push my students to always strive for progress, designing weekly goal-logs to help them read music and improve on their instrument.

Teaching since:

Hello music makers! Do you want to know the big secret about French Horn? It's actually not the terrifying beast of a brass instrument that everyone makes it out to be. When you apply the proper playing technique and a confident mind set from Day 1, the Horn can be a fun and exciting instrument, let me prove it to you.

I have taught countless hours of private lessons and am passionate about helping others improve their music skills whether you're a beginner just learning to noodle, or a seasoned veteran looking to improve their technique. I graduated from Chapman University with a B.A. in Music in 2016 and have had the opportunity to play along side and learn from some of LA's finest professional musicians. Let me pass on to you what they've taught me.

Robert is a great French horn teacher. He is very patient and nails what to improve and how. I also went to some of his concerts and I was really impressed, it is really inspiring to continue making progress learning how to play French horn.

Robert was an amazing horn teacher! He was always really good at diagnosing the problems I had in playing and giving directions on how to fix them. He's very personable and fun to be around which helps keep lessons enjoyable.
