Hello! I am a former music performance student of SHSU. I have played clarinet for 10 years, and piano for 8. After receiving a 2-year education at SHSU, I transferred to UTD in Richardson to pursue a pre-medical degree. During my time at SHSU, I earned top musical honors, including a victory in a concerto competition between all of the incoming musicians to the school of music. I additionally made the TMEA 6A all-state band two years in a row while in high school. As someone who has recently gone through studentship and emerged successfully, I believe I have fresh insight as to how your current student may do the same. Not only do I have the knowledge and insight to teach students of any level, but I also know exactly what habits and methods it takes. So much of my heart is rooted in music, and I would love to help your student begin and enrich their musical journey. As an older brother to three younger sisters, I have always had an affinity for collaborating with the youth, be it as a brother or as a teacher. I hope to be in contact with you soon!
