What is Moon Magnet? Moon Magnet is a music school, music studio, & record label based in Denver, CO founded in 2013. With Moon Magnet you can learn how to produce music with one of our many engineers, release your music in 90 days, or learn to play an instrument and perform at concerts. Our education is accessible online and in person at your house (our teachers drive to you). Since receiving the Meow Wolf Grant for two consecutive years, we've undertaken a number of exciting new projects, including the release of our first cassette compilation tape (Moon Magnet Volume IV). Some of our members are product innovators and have collaborated with Meow Wolf to bring Moon Water to Meow Wolf’s Convergence Station (Denver) and Omega Mart (Las Vegas). Moon Magnet band, déCollage, was invited to create a 10min soundtrack for a room called Ruptured Time at Meow Wolf Denver. Moon Magnet is an artist collective with a lot of branches; it’s an umbrella with a multiverse of people under it. We’ve created surrealistic music videos & films that have premiered on the big screen, as well as launching a Moon Magnet showcase at Alamo Drafthouse, which debuted with songwriter Esmé Patterson. With our desire for providing imaginative experiences and our love for bringing people together, we’ve had the honor of hosting unusual Moon Magnet showcases at UMS every year since 2013.
