Playing and teaching piano is my joy and my passion. I've been teaching piano for the last 14 years. Teaching isn't just a profession for me. It is something I truly enjoy. I have had 6 years of college instruction for piano and vocal performance. I have preformed at The Whitehouse in Washington D.C, Disneyland, Governors Mansion, Sacramento Jazz Festival, The Capitol Rotunda, toured various states across the U.S., and more. I pride myself on creating a fun, safe, and creative environment while teaching my students. I use prize jars and numerous fun and exciting games to help my students better learn. I also hold two piano recitals each year to give my students some performance experience; spring and Christmas. I specialize in teaching my students to read, write, and play music proficiently. Some of my main focuses in teaching my students are; sight reading and music theory. I have extensive backgrounds in all different types of piano genres such as classical, praise, hymn, and contemporary.
