Rebecca's musical training began at the age of 5 on the piano. As her love of music grew, she began playing the violin at age 8 with the viola to follow a year later. Performing in multiple musicals in her early life, Rebecca's love of singing began. A graduate of Saint Xavier University with a music education degree, Rebecca taught in the public school system for seven years teaching both orchestra and choir. An active performer around Chicago, Rebecca is a soprano and featured soloist with Chicago’s Allegrezza Choir, performs with several orchestras, and frequently performs on piano in different venues. She has been featured on several albums of the recording artist Ross Crean. You can hear Rebecca sing and play viola on the soundtrack of Summerland, available on ITunes, for the LUMA exhibit in 2014 in Chicago. She has performed at multiple sporting events around Chicago singing the National Anthem. Winning several awards for music composition and arranging, Rebecca enjoys creating the music for music collaborations. Her enthusiastic teaching style inspires her students to not only perfect technique but to love making music. A teacher of all levels of abilities, Rebecca engages her students through her own passion for teaching music.
