Learn vocal techniques that suit any genre and help your voice shine!

I have 5+ years experience working with all types of singers. Lessons are tailored to each individual student based on their experience, interests and goals. We'll work together to help pitch, learn music theory, build healthy techniques for longevity, breath support, control and more! All while singing the songs you love. All ages and skill levels welcome! However, with small children, I’ve found that for communication purposes it is most productive when they can/ are learning to read and write. Look forward to meeting you!

    About Rebecca D.

I am a graduate of Berklee College of Music with dual degrees in Music Production/Engineering and Songwriting. While in school my main instrument of study was Voice. I am a classically trained singer with over 17 years of study and professional experience. I've sung in choirs, as a soloist, in bands, in studio settings and more. I have played and studied electric and acoustic guitar for over 15 years and have played in many settings including solo, in bands, in studios and accompanying singers. I've studied piano since I was a child, it was the first instrument I played and was the foundation for my knowledge in music theory and musical interest. My focus is teaching the next generation of musicians, with 5+ years of private instruction experience. I am passionate about technique and music theory, and I strive to give musical knowledge that can be applied to any instrument or genre. Ultimately, music should be a fun, creative outlet where each student can feel safe enough to push the boundaries of their skill and knowledge, and strive to navigate challenges. My teaching philosophy is to meet each student where they are currently. Everyone is at a different point in their musical journey, they have different goals and interests that excite them. My goal is to help them grow and expand their musical knowledge and techniques, while exploring the genres or songs that interest and excite them.
