About rashida C.
Take advantage of the insight of a 40-plus-year veteran of the theater during a two-day actors' workshop led by longtime actor, director, and coach Mel Williams at the District of Columbia Arts Center.
Mel began his own training in 1967 under legendary acting coaches Sanford Meisner and Lee Strasburg at the Neighborhood Playhouse and Actors Studio, respectively. Over his career, he has acted and directed in theaters in DC, Boston, New York and elsewhere. And in addition to aspiring actors, some of the top talent in show business can call themselves Mel's students. He'll develop your skills as you spend ten total hours concentrating on monologues, scene analysis, character development, improvisation, and more over two days in January or February.
