YMCA Summer Camp

I was one of the head counselor s of the YMCA summer camp in Minneapolis, MN. I had to put together games, activities, group bonding games while encouraging a fun and learning environment for the children to learn in.

Teaching Temps

I was a substitute teacher that went to various of schools to sub for teachers that were not able to come in to the school. This helped me to adapt to different teaching strategies for teaching children of many different backgrounds and learning abilities. It taught me to flexible to new ways of how children learn in different environment levels.

Salvation Army Bible Camp

I was responsible for coming up with the lesson plans and activities to have the students learn bible stories and learn music as well. I would use power point, games, work sheets, puzzles to have them interact with one another to help them retell the stories and lessons of the bible.

Oakwood University
