Welcome! My name is Raphaelita and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2007 and have loved helping my students find passion for piano, learn to understand music theory and play any piece they desire. I went to Rowan University and earned a degree in Public Relations in 2007. However I've studied the piano for over 20 years and I've taken 3 years of college classes including, music theory, concert piano, music history, music composition and pedagogy. I'm currently working on my performance program to be accepted in a piano pedagogy degree program at a University. My students would say that I'm fun yet strict when it comes to teaching piano. It is my goal as a teacher to help your child reach his/her full potential in understanding the language of music. My approach to each child will be different, depending on learning style, personality, attention span, and personal goals in taking lessons. But in all cases, I want my students to be able to read music and enjoy practicing every day. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
