Trombone with Randall S.

My name is Randall Smith, and I am excited to work with you! Music is my first love and playing trombone is what gets me out of bed every day. I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in trombone performance at Brigham Young University-Idaho. While my main emphasis is classical performance, I also study and play jazz. I have been principal/section leader or second chair in every auditioned ensemble on campus, including Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Band, Sound Alliance Big Band, and Chamber Brass. I also study music theory and composition in both classical and jazz idioms. My hope with this endeavor is to reach students who may not have an opportunity to take lessons otherwise, since I was unable to study privately through middle school and most of high school.
