    About Rachel D.

Hi there! My name is Rachel, and I am a lifelong musician and music educator. I grew up in the great city of New Orleans, Louisiana, and studied Music Education for my Bachelors at Southeastern Louisiana University. A lifelong student at heart, I then moved to Austin, Texas, to pursue a Master of Music degree from the University of Texas at Austin. After graduate school, I started teaching high school choir and piano full time while still practicing piano and conducting myself on the side! I love to read and be outdoors, and I am the proud mother of 2 adorable dogs! If you have any questions or would like more information, don't hesitate to reach out and ask me! I hope you'll sign up for lesson with me, and I look forward to meeting you!
