I specialize in beginner/intermediate level basics, with rock and blues genres specifically. I focus extensively on the topics of improvisation and on developing your personal voice on the instrument, along with solid, natural technique.

I believe in growing as a guitarist not just through technical proficiency, but also in overall musicianship. My approach to learning songs is not just being able to play a song, but to understand why it works, and how you can translate the things you hear into techniques and ideas you can utilize in your own songwriting.

I'm a guitarist based out of the Atlanta, GA area with 9+ years experience playing, teaching and performing music. My influences cover a wide spectrum, and I'm most at home playing in a blues, rock or indie style. 

I am currently working on a certificate in jazz guitar from Berklee College of Music (Online), and you can catch me out in the local scene with original indie band Mindblum, and as Nancy Wilson in Atlanta's own Heart tribute band.
