Phaedra is a professional colleague of mine. I have always been impressed with how well prepared her students are for competitions and auditions. Her attention to technical detail, and musicality show a dedication to, and love of teaching. During the Covid-19 pandemic, she is being extremely careful having her students wash their hands, and use hand sanitizer before, and during lessons.

I took piano lessons from Miss Paedra for about 5 years. I started when I was 6 years old. Miss Paedra is so kind and patient. She really helped me to grow and develop many skills and techniques with piano and theory. The background knowledge I got from Miss Paedra with music and theory altogether ultimately helped me out when starting to learn new instruments like the violin. I still play piano every now and then and I absolutely love and enjoy music. I really appreciate all the work and help I received when taking lessons. Miss Phaedra really helped to push and motivate me to practice and grow, and I know that she truly enjoys working with each of her students and wants the best for them.

I came to Phaedra as an adult harp student having had about a year experience prior. I had no idea how much I would grow with her as a teacher! She improved my technique, knowledge, skill level, and confidence as a harpist. She truly cares about her students and would find pieces for me to play that were at my level but would keep my interest. My two girls also took piano and harp lessons from her and loved her warmth and encouragement. Coming from no experience at all, I was surprised to see that they were playing Debussy and Chopin after only a few years. Their love for music began with the foundation Phaedra provided and still continues to this day. I was sad once we moved and were no longer to have her as an instructor as we have never found her equal.
