My journey with the guitar began 25 years ago and what a joy it has been! I play rock, celtic, and bluegrass guitar and especially appreciate finger style and classical guitar. Guitar is an integral part of almost all contemporary and popular music and it is a great instrument to bring the joy of playing music into your life! Rhythm is essential to my instruction and in just a few lessons students will be playing familiar songs and danceable rhythms. *** Lesson Details *** I am flexible in approach and gear lessons toward whatever the students goals may be. We can be up and running with chords and rhythms playing familiar tunes in just a couple of lessons. Also, I enjoy the integration of tablature and music notation into instruction if a student desires. *** Studio Equipment *** Den area with piano. Seating for parents. One cat. Parking available. *** Travel Equipment *** Normally I would request the student have their own instrument.
