I was the original drummer for Capitol Recording Artists XYZ. We toured all over the world headlining and opening up for various major recording artists such as Ted Nugent, Foreigner, Alice Cooper, Alice and Chains, Extreme etc just to name a few. I have also had the pleasure of gigging with former members of Kiss and Van Halen. I have many years of experience playing with bands, recording in the studio as well as touring and teaching. Before moving to LA, I lived in New Jersey studying with some of the best teachers in New York and also gigging with different bands. I knew drumming was in my future forever so I decided to move to LA and go to P.I.T. (The Percussion Institute of Technology) in Hollywood. There I also studied with some of the best teachers in the world. I graduated P.I.T. with honors and shortly after that got signed with the band XYZ. After that, I continued to jam with other bands and do various studio recording gigs. I also picked up a bunch of students and began my teaching career. Teaching has always been a passion of mine as I get a kick out of sharing my ideas and seeing my students progress so fast and come back each week with their own ideas that they have taken from my own. No 2 drummers are the same and I approach each student with a customized curriculum according to what they want and what I believe they will need in order to get there. I strongly believe in hand rudiments as this is the foundation of all drumming. If you are limited in your hand technique, you will be limited around the kit. I have studied extensively with many teachers on the Buddy Rich method. Still to this day, Buddy has always been known as a drummer with amazing hands and that's why he will always be remembered as one of the greatest drummers of all time. My goal is to teach you everything that I have learned from my teachers in a fun and professional environment with focus on developing great hands. I have short cuts to get you to reach your goals faster with "tricks" that I have learned over the years and will save you years of wasted time. As long as you're willing to put in the practice time and work hard,I will guarantee you results......FAST! Lets do this!
