Piano with Patrick D.

Hello my name is Patrick DeJardin. I graduated from the University of La Verne with my BA in Piano Performance and Music History in 2015, studying with Grace Zhao Baugh. I have always struggled with performance anxiety and it has been a big process for me to move Through. I have found comfort through teaching and have discovered that I am extremely passionate about helping others. In 2016 I joined the piano faculty at the Claremont Community School of Music and have loved working at the school and connecting with other students of all age ranges. In July I will be relocating to Palo Alto as my partner will be attending Stanford’s CCRMA program in the fall. Though I am excited about this new experience the hardest part for me is leaving my students behind. My intentions in teaching is to help students find themselves through music and grow with the instrument and within themselves.
