Gospel Singing with Pagel W.

Hi my name Is Pagel Williams and I am thrilled to be your Vocal Coach! I have loved music since I started singing as a young kid in elementary school. Now, with almost 20 years of singing experience I am moved in my spirit to help others grow in their own passion for music. As a graduate from Taylor University I majored in Music Performance where I furthered my education in classical, contemporary, and World Music. One of my favorite moments on my musical journey include traveling to Canada to compete in a National Vocal Competition where I earned first prize on multiple songs. This was the beginning of my learning and passion for Classical Music (2000). While Gospel, Pop and R&B have always been near and dear to my soul, Learning the fundamentals of singing is the best teacher! Working with me, students can expect to improve week to week in their vocal technique. Every voice has a unique timbre; I teach students to release built up tension and apply foundational techniques in order to unlock their own individual sound. I can help any student to sing with freedom, confidence, and expression. Currently I work as Worship Leader at my Church in Southern California, where I teach Contemporary and Gospel Music. Additionally, I have lead a choir of one hundred youth for two years, and as an Educator (Middle School and High School) I have a background teaching lead vocal, vocal ensemble, and drums. Leading worship for over ten years has been a platform for to use my gifts for God. I cannot wait to meet you to see what He wants to do through you!
