I offer violin lessons to children from 7 y/o and adults who wish to learn and improve their skills with this instrument. I can prepare you for orchestra auditions, and music competitions, and master specific music repertoire. I have pedagogical experience consulting and advising other professors. I have studied the violin since I was 9 years old, it's my passion to teach the instrument, and my students are working as professional violinists in important orchestras and imparting lessons on violin everywhere in South and North America and Europe. Pablo Vásquez is an amazing and very skilled teacher. He was my first private lesson teacher, and the greatest influence on my growing love and passion for classical music. Without Pablo, I would’ve never developed this passion for music. He is a very in-depth teacher. When starting the instrument, he gives a thorough explanation of the makeup of the instrument before the student begins to learn how to play the instrument. He describes the proper positions in which you should use to play the violin and how to avoid injuries. Pablo is a very patient teacher that isn’t too strict but does enforce some discipline in regards to practicing and advance in pieces. Pablo provides the student with etudes that can improve the students technicality along with solo repertoire that improves the students musicality. His teaching methods are very well thought out and are created for the improvement and development of the student.
