I started taking piano lessons at the age of eight under the instruction of Robert Wilson before switching to Rosaline Saunders Music Studio. I play by ear, but also read music. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. My purpose is to create well rounded musicians, who can play all genres of music, and who will also know how to set the atmosphere with their music. I love teaching piano and I love teaching all ages. I began teaching piano in 2003 before becoming the founder of The Master's Hands Music Studio in 2004. My greatest joy is seeing the knowledge and gift of music passed to others that was afforded me by the sacrifice of my late parents. *** Lesson Details *** I am patient but expect my students to practice so that our lessons are a continuation of the lessons taught before and not practice sessions in themselves. I use the Alfred's Basic Piano Lesson and Theory books. I believe in custom tailoring the lesson to each student.
