Omer is a great instructor - very quickly identified my areas for improvement and came up with creative and fun ways to practice exactly the skills i needed to focus on. He is very patient and also has been flexible to take our lessons in whatever direction makes most sense for my personal goals and preferred style.

Omer is giving Violin lessons to my youngest son Eric for the last 6 months. Eric started playing the guitar a few years ago up until a movie he recently saw on a Japanese brilliant violinist , a week later he told us on his will to tryout the violin. Fortunately We heard Omer playing in a jazz club, and contacted him a few days after, Omer is a very talented musician but has unique capability and patient for his students. Omer is teaching with a very relaxed, positive attitude, his passion for music with small anecdotes and humour was what made Eric to get in love with the instrument and he is Impatiently waiting for his next lesson. we highly recommend Omer as a teacher and musician.

Omer helped me in preparing for my audition to the school of jazz in The Newschool, NY. Don't know my answer yet but Omer definitely helped me feel confident about my playing and be more coherent in my presentation in front of the judges. He showed me some techniques to be able to remain focused even under the stress of an audition of such significance for me and I feel like it really changed my performance for the better.

I've been a classical violinist for many years and but never had the courage to improvise on my instrument. Omer showed me how fun improvisation could be and really made everything seem easier than what I thought it was.

Omer loves music, the violin, and it shows. His youtube videos are smokin' and had me humming with joy. He puts a spin on the classical instrument in a way I had not known possible before...by playing jazz with it! It's just want a teenage boy needs to experience. My son has been playing since he was 5 years old and I felt that the traditional, classical instructors with their dated attitude just would not cut it at this juncture in his music career. With Omer teaching, I'm confident my latently, hesitant violinist will "produce" his own music with time. He goes away from some lessons whistling the piece. When Omer and my son jam, it's quite exciting. Omer is knowledgable, modern, in tune with the young student, I believe because he was a young boy once too. He's absolutely what we are looking for in a contemporary instructor. And his jazz concerts are quite inspiring to see too. I hope my raving reviews won't take him away from my student but he's one of the best violinist in New York City presently.

Aside from being an amazing performer, he is a fantastic teacher - explains and demonstrates in a very clear fashion, has lots of patience, and stimulates his students to work hard and to want to learn as much as they can from him.
