Blues Guitar with Omar M.

Hello guitarists! My name is Omar Marshall and I'd love to share my passion for the guitar with you. I have been playing the guitar for over 25 years. I am currently the guitarist for a heavy metal group in Baltimore. My band is currently signed to a label and have released several songs and an EP thus far. I have opened for countless "Big name" National acts and have played all across the country. I currently endorse the "Japanses Girl" wah pedal for AMT Technologies. But enough about me, YOU'RE here to become a better guitarist right? I have an unorthodox approach to playing guitar and music in general, thus my teaching style is also a little unorthodox. I can teach you the basics and get you chording and counting beats but my main talent for teaching lies in finding a way to make this instrument make sense to YOU. I know music theory but am completely self taught, along the way of teaching myself I discovered a way to make a lot of the theory easier to consume and understand and would like to pass along some of this knowledge to future players. If you can't quite figure out the tuning to your favorite song or can't perform that "fill in the blank" trick or technique, if you don't understand which strings to get and why, If you have never set up your own guitar, if you don't understand what pedals do and which ones do what, If you need to know how to make "that noise" on that song you like - I am probably the instructor for you!
