I have recently joined the Cape Fear Music team to support our local music scene and to be around some of the best educators in the state. My main job duty is to grow the retail side of the business and continue to teach. I love this place and I'm sure you would too!

Guitar Center

Most of my time was spent leading a winning team on the sales floor and a very organized operations team. Here I spent my time solving any issues that came my way and team development to become one of the most successful sales teams to have ever worked in our store. I left this job to pursue music full time!

Edwards Music Company

I began my time here by managing and buying for the drum department. With-in a year I was doing the buying for most of the store. Managing about $500.000 to $750.000 annually in inventory.

Independent

In the past few years I have had the privilege of not only drumming but managing a few groups. Dirty Kin was a hard rock band that played up and down the east coast. During this time I was responsible for coordinating shows, travel, lodging, and finances for the group. After this group, I formed a band called Eyes & Teeth, we were lucky enough to achieve some early success and a strong head start. During this time I worked closely, not only with our label (Cardigan Records), but along side Tragic Hero Records out of NC. I spent most of my time performing, managing merchandise and other finances, logistics, and believe it or not, even our PR! There is no substitute for experience in my eyes, and recommend all to give it a try!

El Paso Youth Jazz Ensemble

Was honored to be a part of the formation of the El Paso Youth Jazz Ensemble (EPYJE) which continues to grow and allow students amazing networking and performing opportunities.

Ysleta Independent School District

During my high school years I was extremely active in the music scene. I was not only the drummer for 3 Jazz groups in my high school, but also the district and eventually the city. I attribute most of my success these years to the amount of practice and reading that was required of me. I encourage everyone to push themselves this hard as often as possible, only good will come of it!
