Cello with Nikki E.

Hi there! My name is Nikki and I can't wait to meet you! I've been playing cello since I was in the fourth grade, all the way back in 1997, and teaching private lessons since 2008. My teaching method focuses on combining technical skills (I make them as fun as possible, I promise!) with artistic expression right from the beginning, with an emphasis on ear-training and theoretical knowledge. I earned my bachelors degree in music education from Webster University in St. Louis in 2010, and am certified to teach K-12 instrumental music in the state of Missouri. I am passionate about discovery learning--"I don't know" doesn't exist in my book--and I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
