About Nick D.
Nick is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Music Education from Florida State University. Previously, he attended The University of Texas at Austin where he earned a bachelor's degree in Music Education, taught high school and middle school band and guitar for 3 years in Austin, TX, most recently earning a Master of Music degree in Instrumental Conducting from Louisiana State University.
As an instrumentalist, Nick has performed on all brass instruments, guitar, and electric bass in a variety of settings for over fifteen years. He is proficient in teaching in most every music style and genre. Wether you are looking to perform classical music in your church group, learn to sing and play that song on guitar you've always loved, or just want to learn to write/arrange music on the side, Nick is happy to help you along your journey to achieve your musical potential!

Nick was patient with a brand new learner and explained things in a very easy to understand way. He didnt just talk, he asked questions to explore whether the student was grasping the information. Very happy to be working with him as is my daughter!
