    About Nick D.

I am a professional musician currently earning a degree in Jazz Saxophone Performance from the Thornton School of Music at USC. I have toured all over the world playing at venues like Carnegie Hall, the Apollo Theatre, Lincoln Center Theater, Umbria Jazz Festival, Telluride Jazz Festival, Puerto Vallarta Jazz Festival, and more. Artist I have performed with include Branford Marsalis, Randy Brecker, Victor Wooten, Kirk Whalum, Wayne Bergeron, David Paich, Andy Martin, Tom "Bones" Malone, Ernie Watts, and more. In addition I have won 7 awards from Downbeat Magazine, the world's leading jazz publication. But enough about me! Through these amazing mentors I have gathered more information than I can keep to myself! With a structured practice routine and solid material, even a daily practice routine of 30 minutes will result in observable weekly growth. I will give you the tools and guidance you need to improve your playing in ways you never thought possible! Whether you want to get better at Jazz, Classical, Funk, Rock, Soul, improvising, harmony, technique, phrasing, sound, writing, arranging, and more, I will get you there!
