My name is Nicholas. I have several years of singing experience in both tenor and countertenor repertoire. I started taking private lessons in high school and I’ve been in love with singing ever since! After high school I immediately got myself in college and started taking music theory and ear training classes as well as being in choral ensembles and private lessons. I completed 2 years of music courses at Alvin Community College before I transferred to Texas A&M University Commerce (where I am now). I am in my third year at TAMUC where I will soon be getting my Bachelors of Arts in Music with a minor in communications. Thank you for your interest and I hope you’ll consider taking lessons from me!

His tips are really helpful with singing, I am auditioning for shows left and right, and Nicholas is good at refining the small things, but also the big things as well.

Nicholas is an amazing singing instructor. Although the 30-minute lessons are very short, he makes the most out of every minute. He provided sheet music and an accompaniment track for the song I am learning. I would highly recommend Nicholas.

Nick is super flexible and great with beginners. I came with zero experience and he made learning how to sing super fun and understandable. He customizes each song to the singer's range and goes step by step on each note. He's a great teacher!

Begun in 1920 as the Texas Band Teachers Association, the Texas Music Educators Association is an organization of over 10,000 school music educators dedicated to promoting excellence in music education. TMEA is comprised of five divisions: Band, Orchestra, Vocal, Elementary and College. On behalf of its members and Texas schoolchildren, TMEA carefully monitors the actions of all state decision-making bodies on issues affecting fine arts instruction in Texas. In addition to many member benefits, TMEA offers professional development opportunities for its members with Region workshops and especially with its annual Clinic/Convention. TMEA supports the future of music education by offering scholarships to music education majors and by sponsoring the Texas Future Music Educators, an organization through which high school students interested in careers in music education learn more about what to expect in their college education and future careers.
