Nathan is a clarinet, saxophone, and flute player studying music education at Azusa Pacific University. He has a passion for music and wants to share the joy of making music at a high level with his students. He is well versed in many genres including jazz, classical, and wind band repertoire. Nathan has played music for over 10 years in various ensembles and studied with very skilled and accomplished private teachers. While he has played classical repertoire from composers such as Stravinsky, Copland, Weber, Mozart, and Gershwin, he has also played countless jazz standards and big band charts. Nathan is a patient teacher who is excited to teach students who take an interest in music. He is more than happy to teach complete beginners or those who have experience. Nathan believes every student should get the opportunity to experience the joys of creating music. Music can be hard work, but it is extremely rewarding, and one of the best things for the mind, body, and soul. Nathan lives in Glendora, CA.
