Violin with Naomi F.

Hello! I'm Naomi and I graduated from Princeton University in 2023. I have been working as a teacher in a range of subjects for the past 4 years, with over 400 hours of experience. I have been playing violin for 19 years, and played with multiple orchestras while at Princeton while taking lessons with Eric Wyrick and Nancy Wilson. Although I am classically-trained through the Suzuki method, I enjoy playing many different genres of music, including jazz, musical theater, rock, klezmer, keroncong (Indonesian folk music), and more. I work with violin students of all ages and levels! Aside from violin, I have experience working with pre-K students through adults in a variety of topics ranging from environmental education to conversational English practice. I have a fair amount of experience with helping children through adults develop English language skills as a second language. I am very passionate about educational equity, and want to assist all students in accessing strong educational resources. I am able to tutor a wide range of topics, from standardized test prep to English to elementary/middle school Math and more. Feel free to reach out so we can connect about lessons!
