Teaches students:
and Ages 5 to 80

Teaching since:
September 1970

I have taught private piano lessons to all ages and levels for more than forty years. I teach sightreading, rhythm, musical expression, technique and music theory. The student will need either a piano or keyboard available for practicing between lessons. Titles of method books to be purchased will be given to the parent at the first lesson. If a student has books that were used with a previous teacher, I will consider continuing in those books if they are the appropriate level for the student. I enjoy sharing my love of music with my students. I am a patient teacher and I consider the individuality and goals of each student. I was a church organist and accompanist for many years.

We enjoy lessons so much. Our daughter looks forwards to them. And we hope to have her teach her baby brother when he is old enough.
