Singing with Miriam K.

Hi! My name is Miriam, and I'm a professional vocalist and actor and recent graduate of Berklee College of Music, where I majored in Vocal Performance and minored in Musical Theater Performance. I'm currently offering voice lessons to students of all ages and experience levels. Whether you have never taken a voice lesson and just want to have fun singing, or you're looking for someone to help you with upcoming auditions, I'd love to work with you! I specialize in musical theater and pop/rock and am experienced in many different styles, including classical, jazz, choral, and folk/country. Other areas we can work on in lessons include audition techniques, reading music, stage presence and acting a song, vocal improvisation, and basic piano. As a teacher, I realize that everyone's vocal journey is different, and what works for one student may not work for another. That's why I'm committed to consistently learning new techniques and methods of teaching vocal technique, so that I can best serve each student's unique voice and style of learning.
