Brazilian singer, songwriter. Her most recent experiences include singing background for household names such as Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato. In August 2018, she also participated in an MTV commercial honoring this year's Video Vanguard, Jennifer Lopez. Millena has performed at the Macy's Fourth of July Firework event in NYC and done vocals for a wide variety of projects including a celebratory TV anniversary commercial for LATV - an American bilingual broadcast television network. Millena sings in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Millena started singing in church at the age of 5 and since then has developed her performance and vocal skills by singing at school talent shows, competitions and several events in the US and Brazil. Millena is also a songwriter, a skill that came naturally as the singer grew up to her father playing the guitar at home and her chiming in with her own lyrics. Among her experiences, Millena has also opened up for artists such as Xavier Omar and worked in the studio with several producers including KayGee from Naughty by Nature and Swagg R’Celious - one of the executive producers for H.E.R. Early in her career, Millena won as America's Most Talented Kid on NBC's Sally Jessy Raphael show in 2001, performed for the Showtime at the Apollo and sung the national anthem at one of the biggest Brazilian festivities outside of Brazil which stretches across Sixth Avenue from 42nd Street to Central Park and is televised globally to millions of viewers.
